Well, some people reported that — they found a strange problem in their android based tabs or mobile handsets. The battery stuck at 100% flat & discharging, it doesn’t change when plugged in the charger. Most annoying part is- tab/mobile shuts off without even showing any low charge notification or showing any low battery percentage.

Fear not guys, there is a solution too.

Please follow the below steps:

  1. Root your tab/mobile (Just Google it)
  2. Install the Terminal Emulator in your tab.
  3. Open the Terminal Emulator and type the following codes:

$ su

(Press enter, then enter following line)

# echo B820 > /sys/devices/i2c-2/2-0034/axp20_reg

(Or you can try the below lines instead of above line)

# echo B8A0 > /sys/devices/i2c-2/2-0034/axp20_reg

You’ll see the battery indicator shows 5% charge, and then just type below code to reboot.

# reboot

After reboot, enter the following code if necessary (I’m damn sure that above codes are good enough to solve the battery problem, so you’ll not need to enter the below code)

# echo 0800 > /sys/devices/i2c-2/2-0034/axp20_reg

So?

I hope you got a problem free Mobile handset/Tablet now…

Smile please…
